Reinstalling windows did solve the problem that time though. I'm not sure, but I think some years ago I've had this same bsod, and I noticed at first it was caused by launching an online game, and then it escalated and blocked me from using the computer because it would come up minutes after booting windows. I list this as "optional info" because for these eight years it's been fine, I've had other bsod but not never relating to the moterboard at all, so I think it would be unlikely.
